Why do I have to use a bumpboard?While our AI measurement technology is highly advanced, it’s not 100% reliable due to factors like sunspots, shadows, or blurry photos. A bumpboard serves as a fail-safe, allowing a human judge to verify your submission if the AI measurement fails. This ensures that every catch can be accurately entered into our tournaments and competitions, providing a fair experience for all anglers. **Teaser** We are working on an AI measurement without a bumpboard for competitive use. We hope to announce more around this feature at ICAST 2025.

Is AINGLER free to use?Yes! AINGLER is free to download and use. You can submit catches on AINGLER without participating in tournaments. Tournaments will be assigned entry fees by the tournament director and can range in price. AINGLER charges a $6.50 service fee per angler to join a tournament. AINGLER will be introducing a subscription package that will waive any tournament service fees. AINGLER does not charge Tournament Director's to use our platform. With our Premium Management Package, we take the reins to ensure your tournament is flawlessly executed. Please contact us for pricing.

Why did the AI measurement not work on my submission?AINGLER’s AI is an incredible tool that delivers accurate measurements most of the time, but certain factors can occasionally cause it to fail. Common reasons can include sunspots or shadows in the image, blurry photos, or the use of unapproved bumpboards. If your AI measurement fails, double-check your photo and ensure you’re using a recommended bumpboard for the most consistent results.
